Pirates time travel to 21st century

"The greatest treasures what the world has to offer are the friends and family who sail with you." closing dialogue of the film

About the plot it's nothing new in the pirate story however, treasure in reality what they attempted here is mixing and blending in with modern century gadgetry.

The acting is acceptable yet not great.

The characters and dialogues will soon be forgotten but the props used here is worth mentioning.

It was a respectable film that the whole family can watch. It was engaging, adventurous and fun.

It was a decent movie that the entire family can watch. It was entertaining not the best family film ever but it passes of your time as the time crafters.

This is an anomoly

Pirates are transferred through time from 1722 to the present in a freak storm. They are looking for buried treasure of Captain Kidd via a map they stole from Malcolm McDowell, the pirate. Kids find the map and decide to look for the treasure themselves piecing together clues and finding artifact pieces. They also have a school teacher who talks about time machines as if they exist. And there is a subdued Denise Richards.

This is a family film the kids can watch. Geared toward the 7-11 year old group or so. There is an intelligent girl in the group of kids, so the daughter can enjoy it too.

Classic family entertainment

Well crafted story juxtaposing 18th century pirates and 21st century kids.

The child actors are all stars.

Keeps all the family on the edge of their seats and off their smartphones!

I hope this sparks a sequel or becomes a TV series.
