Synopsis

The one review aside from mine written on here by Mr. scott-spinner proclaims "just not funny....I wouldn't call him a comedian," while assigning the special one star.And therein lies the brilliance of Tim and this entire special.Without a nod or wink to the audience, Tim delivers an hour of perfectly crafted anti-humor in the persona of a bombing stand-up comic. It is so flawlessly executed that those not familiar with Tim, like the aforementioned reviewer, will fully believe he is an awful comedian. Tim and Eric has been pushing the boundaries of comedy in a Kaufman-esque way for a long time, and it is amazing and refreshing to see a comedian with the skill and the balls to intentionally suck for an hour, and that is the joke.
