I really enjoyed this. Before you watch you have to keep in mind the target audience is children, but with that being said it's pretty entertaining regardless. Sure, some of the jokes don't stick or are overused, but a lot of the jokes are quite hilarious too. It's nothing too special, but as a Star Wars fan you'll get a kick out of it. Overall, a entertaining kids film for everyone to enjoy.

Great Star Wars adventure for kids and fans alike
May Life Day Be With You. Always.
Although I'm a big fan of Star Wars and have no interest in watching the original Holiday special, 'The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special' is one perfect Holiday special to watch!
The story is set after the events of Episode 9 where Rey sets on a quest to find the perfect Life Day tradition to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force, but she accidentally hurls into a cross-timeline adventure.
This is one hilarious and heartwarming LEGO Star Wars special to watch for the holiday season!
The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special - Movie Review
Despite being a massive Star Wars fan, I have never watched the original Holiday Special because it's one of the worst reviewed films of all time and everyone I know who's seen it says it's terrible. I was still looking forward somewhat to this iteration though, because the Lego properties are always fun and I was a big fan of the sequel trilogy.
Whilst I don't think that The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special is great, I had a lot of fun with it. The narrative was a blast, watching Rey go on this journey and seeing her revisit several iconic moments from most of the Star Wars films. There was even one unexpected place she visited for a few seconds, which was a nice surprise.
The voice acting took some getting used to because only a couple of original cast members reprised their role, but it was nice that they included some of the talent from the animated shows.
There were definite moments of lazy writing and the first ten minutes were a little uninteresting, but I had a really good time overall. If you're a Star Wars fan, I'd recommend it.
