Once again, the writers surprised me, I did not expect that ending, i'm talking both the guilty person and the final scene (you know). I'm so happy that even after 4 movies they still do. The flirting between Amy and Travis was amazing, all that bulding up was so worth it.
I hope that after Jill's pregnancy and this pandemic they continue giving us this series because it truly is enjoyable.

Synopsis
Following her father Graham Winslow doing a public reading from the just released The Waving Flame, the latest in his successful Atticus Keller novel series, Elmstead College Literature Department chair Amy Winslow, a crime fiction specialist, and Garrison PD Detective Travis Burke, the two who have not only worked together on cases but have developed yet largely unspoken feelings for each other, are planning on going on their first date. The reading will be held at the bookstore run by Amy's former student Blake Newman, who dropped out of the Ph.D. program to focus on writing, he proud to announce to Amy he just having received his first publishing deal. Concurrently, Amy agrees to speak to young, aspiring writer Ella Quincy, who is doing research on a possible non-fiction book concerning Amy's former Elmstead College Literature Department colleagues Evan "Mac" McKinnon and Nicole Ford, he currently serving a thirty year sentence for her murder. My favorite Hallmark original mystery series!
This series is my favorite Hallmark Mystery series in large thanks to the chemistry between Amy and Travis! loved this one and Jill's pregnancy didn't affect the movie .. chill people, it's 2020! I really enjoyed this one and hope there are many many many more movies in this series!

I love this team!
I love this duo... They have great chemistry and you can tell that they work well together. This was a great mystery that had you guessing the whole way through. It was also nice to see their relationship develop and grow - - despite her father :-) I can hardly wait for the next installment! Hallmark, please keep them coming!
