After seeing the low rating of this movie I thought watching it might be a waste of time, but decided to give it a go.

Although this won't win any awards if wasn't too bad at all. The story is fairly predicable, but it does have some unexpected moments and a nice twist at the end.

The acting is solid as is the production.

This movie is not for stupid people. Gritty and frightening yes but it goes beyond that. Mickey Rourke was amazing, he never ceases to bring the goods. The only people who wouldn't like this movie are those without depth. If you think you can go deeper than the obvious then watch this movie. I loved it.

The poor rural small town drama has become a ''sub-genre'' the last few years.

This one is pretty good, the actors do a very good job and the story is good.
